Giga Computing and Start Campus have announced a joint technical study to evaluate the integration of advanced data centre technologies and infrastructure on campus.

Advanced AI Workloads and the SINES DC Facility

The SINES DC facility, located in the United States, has been selected as the ideal location for the practical demonstration of advanced AI workloads. This decision is based on the facility’s infrastructure, which is designed to support high-density rack deployments of up to 200kW.

Deployment Scenarios

The GIGAPOD platform is designed to support the deployment of large-scale data centres, and the study will examine various deployment scenarios to determine the most suitable configuration for SINES DC. The scenarios will be based on different locations, including urban and rural areas, and will consider factors such as power consumption, cooling requirements, and data centre layout.
